  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Boil a cup of water
  3. Combine flour, sugar, oats, and coconut flakes in a bowl
  4. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and corn syrup together
  5. Once the butter is melted, mix the 4 tablespoons of boilding water with the baking soda in a small bowel, then add to the melted butter
  6. The butter mixture will foam up, then mix it with the dry ingredients
  7. Once mixed, add dollops of mixture to a baking sheet
  8. Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until golden brown
  9. Allow for biscuits to cool on tray for a couple minutes, then move to cooling rack
