Pasta Carbonara
Ingredients
- Pasta
- 4 slices of Bacon
- 4 cloves of garlic minced
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cups grated or shredded parmesan cheese
- pepper
Steps
- Boil water and cook pasta in it. Make sure to save some pasta water when done(~1 cup).
- Fry the bacon in a pan.
- When bacon is close to done, add garlic to pan.
- Use kitchen scissors to cut the bacon into 1/2 inch chunks.
- While everything else is going on, mix eggs, cheese, and pepper in a bowl.
- When the garlic has browned, take the pasta and mix it in the pan with the bacon and garlic, about 30 seconds.
- After, take the pasta/bacon mixture and add it to the bowel with the egg mixutre.
- Whisk thoroughly, if eggs/cheese start clumping up then add a little bit of the pasta water. When incorporated, serve.
